Civa

Civa is my husband Gerry’s dog. He was originally trained in Mondio Ring Sport and then switched over to IPO where they achieved their IPO 3 title. He has competed in many trials when we needed an extra dog, so his IPO 3 title is many times over. He is currently retired at 8.5 years old. He is a large size male with very low drives but his personality makes him a perfect candidate for our demos at local schools.

He is also trained in narcotic detection and patrol work. He is very comfortable on the bite suit as well as the hidden sleeve and regular trial sleeve. His retirement came due to many genetic health issues from bad hips to hypothyroid, which he has been on medication for since he was 2 years old. We neutered him many years ago, as he was never in our opinion correct for breeding due to all of the above issues. He is always our dog and leads a very active life with us. He is a very easy dog to take care of and have in the kennel.
