I have a sound background in understanding the K9/handler team.  I have worked with K9 units in California, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois and Indiana.  My own dog, Visage is trained in both narcotics and ammunitions detection as well.

For me, my philosophy on what makes a good K9 working TEAM within patrol work is this:

If you have a dog that will bite, by this I mean a dog that has drives and will bite the suit or sleeve without question, then 90% of what you need is obedience.  From obedience comes understanding, confidence and bonding of the TEAM.  When you have ALL of these things, then you are a TEAM.

Call or email me for more information and we can tailor make a workshop for your department.
