THE ZIMMERMANN'S

GERRY, (pronounced Gary), my husband, has been working dogs as a helper for nine years. He also is a certified helper in suit work for the National Association Of Protection Dogs. He came from true Schutzhund roots as both his parents competed in the sport. (He was that little kid running around your truck driving your dogs crazy at training.) He currently trains a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois and they have attained their IPO 3 title a few times over. Gerry is also a Certified USA Helper - Club Level Rating and will soon become a USA Teaching Helper. Click on his picture above to view his handler page on Working Dog EU.
CIVA VAN JOEFARM, Gerry's 5-year-old Belgian Malinois was originally trained for ring sport. Civa's favorite place to be is in your arms... literally. At 73 pounds, this can be difficult, but he is a huge snuggler and loves being on the sofa with you. He is a most welcome part of our family. Civa has his IPO 3 title many times over. We look forward to seeing what more is in store for "Little Civy". Click on Civa's picture above to view his pedigree and more of him at work.
ADOBE, aka "Princess Dobes." My now retired, 11-year-old, German Shepherd and housedog. She was a shelter rescue at six weeks of age. She may have been an accidental breeding, but she was not and never has been an accident for me. She truly does think everyone that visits is there only to see her. She RULES all three males, Gerry included. She was a 100-point tracking dog and "V" scored all three titles in obedience. She taught me the most as a trainer. How to be inventive, patient and persistent. Thanks for making me a better handler and reader of dogs, Dobes! You are always my first and best girl. CYNTHIA I have had dogs since I can remember from age two. I've trained and competed in Schutzhund now for ten years and have been a six-time USA World Team member both at the Belgian World's and FCI. I have trained and titled various breeds for other people as well as my own, both present and dogs that are no longer with me. I've instructed classes in basic obedience and worked extensively with Police K9 and Military Working Dogs in patrol and detection work. Currently, I provide training both in private lessons and seminars for Schutzhund and working K9 dog/handler teams. I am also the Training Director for TCT Working Dog Association, our AWMA club here in Kentucky. Click on the picture above to take you to my handler page at Working Dog EU.
A' BETE VISAGE NOIR VOM BMT My retired 8-year-old Belgian Malinois. I know his name is long, but it has a story. I come from French heritage and my sister, older by four years, used to call me, "bete noir" when she was really mad at me growing up. Bete noir, meaning, "black beast" is not the nicest of terms to use on someone in French. When I got Vis, I added "visage," meaning face and ended up with a "black faced beast," or... a Malinois. Vis is a six-time USA World Team member and has come in 7th in the Belgian World Championships. Click on his picture above to view his pedigree and accomplishments.
Fury vom Adlerauge Our 1-year-old female from my friend Kim Hechler. She is a granddaughter from his dog Alpha du sauvage Chausseur and the daughter of Enox der Sonne Entgegen, grandson of Klemm von Roten Falken. She is a high energy, high drive dog. She has completed her BH and is ready for her IPO I. Anything you want to do at anytime, she is ready to go. She is a hunting fiend, not so good for the bird population here, and will chase down anything. Click on her picture above to view her pedigree and more pictures.
G'A vom Drachenherz Our newest edition now one-year-old. She too has just attained her BH title. She is the daughter of Baghira vom Falkenstock, daughter of Klemm vom Roten Falken and Lupano's Duke. She has some big shoes to fill being the granddaughter of Schnitz des Deux Pottois, but already I see, she can do all without a problem. She, like Vis is one of those be careful what you ask for, life is never going to be the same! Click on her picture above to view her pedigree and more pictures and video.
